Embrace your sense of adventure with the Sandero Stepway. With its high ground clearance, stylish roof bars and rugged styling, it looks like an off-roader yet drives as sweetly as a hatchback. The TCe 90 petrol engine is available with an automatic gearbox for easy driving, or you can choose a Bi-Fuel engine with a tank for LPG, letting you switch between petrol and LPG on the fly. Best of all, the Sandero Stepway is available with blind spot warning and other advanced assistance systems.
Trims include Essential, Expression and Journey. Essential has LED headlamps, start and start with an ECO mode, cruise control, air con and a smartphone mount. Expression adds an 8” touchscreen with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, luxury interior trim, keyless entry, auto wipers, rear parking sensors and a rear camera. Journey models pile on the kit with blind spot warning, front and rear parking sensors and an electronic parking brake.
Design
With LED headlights, roof bars, wheel arch extensions and silver skid plates, the Sandero Stepway is adventurous by nature. Inside, the spacious interior has robust materials with an electronic parking brake as standard in Journey guise.
Drive
Expression models have front and rear parking sensors and blind spot warning to make manoeuvres safe. The Bi-Fuel 100 engine runs on LPG or petrol at the press of a button. LPG costs around half that of petrol with a little less efficiency.
Practicality
The rear seats fold down at the press of a button, expanding the 328-litre boot to 1,108-litres easily. There are ISOFIX points on both rear outermost seats, and Expression versions get keyless entry to make access a piece of cake.
Living with it
Smooth, refined and cheap to run, the Sandero Stepway means business. The automatic gearbox makes driving even smoother, and from Comfort, all versions have full smartphone integration with app mirroring for iPhone and Android.
